The nerve-racking job, the grim tidings on the news, the draining daily grind and, on top of all that, stress that just won’t end. Time out? Not in sight. Especially in times like these. Work and leisure blur together, thanks to working from home. Fun and unwinding with friends aren’t allowed. And that little beer with the regulars at your usual table is off. So what now?
Our advice: this big, mighty, green something. The forest. Right on the doorstep for some, perhaps a little way out of town for others. But for everyone: relaxation. It’s well worth the journey, trust me! Fact: the forest is in. And not only that: it does quite a lot for you.

What it can do.
Smell researcher Professor Dr. Hanns Hatt of Ruhr University Bochum explains. We could tell you ourselves, but it sounds so much better as a quote from a professor. After all, he should know.
“Everyone knows the scent of the forest. From childhood, we know what a spruce, a fir or a pine smells like. All the emotions and memories we have ever associated with the forest are called up. If you connect this scent with calm, it automatically brings us back to a state of relaxation and wellbeing.”

What we can do.
The fact is: the forest relaxes. Calms. Gives a sense of security in a world where so much is uncertain right now. And that’s exactly where we at AROMEA come in. Because we have packed this feeling into little fragrance cartridges. One thing is clear: you can go to the forest. But you can’t bring the forest into your shop, your hotel, restaurant or medical practice. And at home, too, the effect just isn’t the same, even with your 100th houseplant. Because our fragrances are little jacks of all trades. Pulling off olfactory masterpieces simply isn’t enough for us. Our credo: don’t just talk big, have plenty to back it up. Can’t see the wood for the trees? No worries: here are our fragrant woodland whizz-kids.
What our green wonder components can do.

What’s in it for you.
And the idea that scents can support us at a time like this isn’t something we plucked out of thin air. Many universities and research centres around the world have been able to confirm the effect. Including the University of Vienna: “Ambient scent can reduce anxiety, improve mood and increase calmness.” In other words: with scents, we can increase our wellbeing. Anxieties are reduced, mood is improved and we become calmer. Pretty smart. Use the power of nature for yourself, your customers and your guests. We’re all in this together. Stay safe.
