Do It Yourself: Make Your Own Fragrances Like AROMEA.

Do it yourself, ladies! Or gents. Or anyone else, for that matter. Because the fact is: anyone can do this! Just step into AROMEA’s shoes for once and create a scent of your own. Whatever takes your fancy. Because fragrances are true all-rounders: they evoke emotions and memories, and they influence health and wellbeing. They can do anything! And that puts you in a good mood! Always handy. And right now, you can’t have too much of it. So, to stop the walls closing in on you at home: be creative! And as your reward, you’ll have the best-smelling home in the whole neighbourhood. Completely free of chemicals: individual, inexpensive, natural. And made with things you’re guaranteed to have at home. Here we go: follow your nose and do it yourself.

For the Simple Souls.

Of course, it’s easy enough to create a lovely-smelling room. The tip for simple souls: peel an orange, stud it with cloves and pop it on the radiator! The warm air rises and takes the orange aroma with it. Et voilà: your home already smells sweetly of orange and cloves. But what if it’s warm outside and the heating isn’t needed? Or if we simply have more time on our hands. And the inner child is crying out for arts and crafts. Got you: just read on.

For the Eager Beavers.

For the home handymen, the do-it-yourselfers and those whose inner child is more present than their grown-up: a room fragrance in the form of an air freshener. Almost as easy as the scent for the simple souls. Everything you need is right there at home! At least it should be. Have a look: baking powder, a jam jar (or any other jar), dried herbs or flowers. Got everything? Then off we go…

How’s that supposed to smell of anything? The scents of the flowers, spices and herbs are absorbed superbly by the baking powder and bicarbonate of soda. This spreads a gentle scent through your home. Working from home just got a lot more fun! And when it stops smelling: no worries! Just shake the jar and the scent carries on. Amazing. But do take care when shaking: remember that the lid has holes in it…

For the Swots.

And of course there are also those who always want more. Or rather, in this case: who are simply lucky enough to have the necessary bits and pieces at home! Do you have a pretty bottle, essential oils, pure alcohol, glycerine and rattan sticks? Congratulations! Then you can make your own diffuser. You want that? Read on.

The sticks soak up the scented liquid and then spread the molecules around the room. Pretty scent-sational, right? Side note: you can get alcohol and glycerine at the pharmacy. You want more? No problem: with the same ingredients, you can also conjure up a room spray. Simply mix 3 parts distilled water, 1 part alcohol and the essential oils. Pour it all into a little spray bottle and et voilà! If all this mixing and making isn’t your thing: get yourself an AROMEA AERA. It does it all for you. And you can simply relax. Do it yourself the other way.
