And what the Roman philosopher knew back then, we at AROMEA Airdesign still know today: sometimes giving simply matters more than taking. And it isn’t something we do casually or in passing. That’s why it really meant a lot to us to hand over a donation cheque for €1,000 to the Förderkreis Onkologie St. Veit/Glan in person, at the Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Brüder (Hospital of the Brothers of Mercy).
The “Förderkreis Onkologie”, an oncology support association, was founded 16 years ago to keep improving the comprehensive treatment of cancer patients at the Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Brüder St. Veit/Glan. The St. Veit hospital and its internationally renowned centres (the Brustzentrum Kärnten breast centre and the Viszeralonkologisches Zentrum for visceral oncology) are known far beyond the country’s borders for the successful treatment and support of cancer patients.
“The most valuable thing we can give people who have cancer is excellent treatment and care,” says Prim. Dr. Franz Siebert, scientific adviser to the Förderkreis and head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Brüder St. Veit/Glan. We see it the same way and wish all patients the very best and a speedy recovery.
