We are in love with Pinzgau! In our last story, we paid a visit to this beautiful region near Salzburg. And we still can’t stop raving about it! Yes, this really is where Julie Andrews could have danced and sung across the meadows. And in the middle of this dreamlike setting, straight out of a sentimental Alpine “Heimatfilm”, lies Maria Alm. Nestled in the cosy, tradition-rich village is the Hotel Eder, which we have already visited. But this hotel also has two more really hip locations, and we’re turning our attention to them today: Hotel SEPP and TaNte FriDa. Two places to stay that couldn’t be more different and that go straight to the heart. Elegant, stylish and refined, Hotel SEPP welcomes everyone aged 21 and over. If you’d like to be a little less grown-up now and then, or want a carefree family holiday with youngsters in tow, you’ll find your special home-from-home at TaNte FriDa. With two such unusual concepts, the scent marketing naturally has to match too. We talked about it with company spokesperson Melanie Schlacker.
Relaxation, a touch of luxury and tradition - Hotel SEPP isn’t easy to pigeonhole. What awaits guests when they check in there?
Schlacker: The hotel stands for a modern mix of laid-back cool, extravagance and relaxation. We offer guests an extraordinary stay - “exSEPPtional”, you might say - that stays in the memory. The wellness area with its infinity pool, the Airstream sauna and elegant rooms for time together as a couple: it’s a special holiday for special moments.
And part of that is surely being an adults-only hotel, a retreat from everyday life?
Schlacker: Absolutely! Here, all guests aged 21 and over find peace, relaxation and that certain something extra. As an adult, your needs are sometimes just different from those of children and families.
But children and families are still very welcome at the Eder Hotels! In a hotel all of their own, in fact!
Schlacker: Our Hotel TaNte FriDa is for anyone who doesn’t feel like being quite so grown-up for a while, or who simply wants to enjoy a great holiday in Maria Alm with children and family. Large family-friendly rooms, a great wellness area with a water slide and lots of adventure zones make TaNte FriDa very colourful, lively and definitely different!
Those sound like the perfect holiday destinations for every wish and occasion. So what do places like these smell like?
Schlacker: At Hotel SEPP, we opted for a woody scent note. It brings out the traditional yet modern character of our hotel even more. It brings a little feeling of home into the rooms and into the soul. At TaNte FriDa, the scent goes well with the lively, varied vibe indoors.
Which diffusers do you use to bring the good vibes into the rooms?
Schlacker: The scent flows through the stairwell into almost every corner. At Hotel SEPP, two AROMEA Pro diffusers help us with this. At TaNte FriDa, an AROMEA Pro Tower is also used alongside an AROMEA Pro to distribute the scent. The scenting goes down extremely well with our guests. It’s part of the experience.
